My first auto show. Took the train into Chicago's Huge frikkin McCormick Place. No way would I drive to any big event in Chicago. Metro was nice n simple. Took some nice long shots of the tracks and a few shots of McCormick place.

I mostly get into small hatchback and coupe cars, imports. I worship Honda cars, probably the only brand of car I'll ever own, long live manual transmission.
-
Other car companies I like (on a 'it's affordable" level) are Volkswagen, Mazda, Nissan. Toyota too bland but they run till the end of time.
-
My favorite "nice to look at" car companies are Acura, BMW, Lexus & Infinity.

Not too many american cars I like. Some of the Chevy n Dodge cars look nice, but it's an outside only thing. These things break down like Payton Manning in the Playoffs. It's funny how they all blame everything BUT bad craftsmanship for their profit woes. Eventually things catch up to you. It took a long time but damn, how could they not see this coming. When you build a great engine you can put wrigley chewing gum wrappers over a frame and people will buy it. America needs a vibrant auto industry so I hope they have learned their lesson and figure out how to build quality engines and cars again.

Imports ruled this auto show as far as I saw, which is strange because all I heard about in the press was american cars.
