You know, you hear people bitch n moan cuz they are a couple payments behind on a few credit cards, or their cell phone doesn’t get a good signal, or they got dumped by someone who probably never really loved them in the first place…….and you might sypathize. That is until you see what Roger Ebert was dealt, and how he dealt with it. What a brave and remarkable soul. The world could do with more like him. He was wrong about video games though. They are art. |

Is it me or do movies pale in comparison to whats being shown on Television right now. I'm talking about the scripted shows. Some forgetful stuff has been released in 2010. Seems like they know how to make money with junk product. |

For the life of me I can't figure out why Obama would take the job as president. You can't win, you can't change anything, and the job pays shit. He was worth over 5 million before taking office. Look at what Sarah Palin made last year. 12 million dollars. Only in america can you make that kind of scratch based on nothing to really offer folks other than promises, 'what we should do's' and motivation speeches. The mess OBama has inherited has gotten messier, and you can't put it on anyone else because hey, change was promised. Folks want to see a better life in their lifetime. What a shame. |

People kind of get upset at my view on the oil spill. I really do not care about it. Its not that I don't care about nature and all that. That's not it. Remember when that bridge collapsed? A real tragedy. After it did it sparked a whole nationwide 'check all bridges' campaign. This is sort of the same thing to me. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Folks didn't care about safety measures in oil rigs. We're to busy filling up our gas tanks every week. Now that this has happened, all the sudden drilling is bad, and Obama, who spent his pre-president days cleaning up worlwide oil spills, is suppose to have the magic answer. I think Obama is lacking in many departments as president of the USA, but this Oil spill is a collective failure on the parts of big oil, government, and it's big boss...the American people. The American people should be smart enough to know that alternative sources of energy had to be researched and developed 25 years ago so by now we wouldn't be dependent on buying this mineral slime from people who hate use. Well we the American people did nothing of the sort. Ease us into $3.00 gas and we'll get used to it. Out demand for oil is almost crack addiction like. We are in for some dark days if we don't get a handle on this energy crisis. This Oil spill is a wake up call. Besides, we don't really know where oil comes from. It might be an essential part of this planet's natural system. How do we know? Time to start looking into full electric cars, water based engines, nuclear power, ect ect. |
